The New York Family Business Center welcomes all members, prospective members, friends and guests back from what we hope was a summer spent relaxing and recharging.
We had our first board meeting of the year recently, and the energy in the room was palpable as we created this year. We welcome Gail Cowley of Cowley Associates as our chair and Fran Snyder as our associate who will manage our events. Tracy Couto has graciously agreed to stay on as board advisor (she is still at Le Moyne as the Executive Director of the Global Jesuit Case Series), and I am delighted to succeed Tracy as the new Director of our Center.
It is our hope that together, we can have a year filled with much success, new beginnings and new futures by offering an exciting slate of learning opportunities, networking events and programs.
Each of you and your contribution to our goals is what helps make the NYFBC successful. Each of your unique experiences and vision is a great asset to this group, and you all play a significant role in our success. We recognize, support and appreciate your presence, and look forward to reconnecting and welcoming you.
